Healthcare providers, manufacturers, policymakers, and other stakeholders need more transparency into medication supply chain disruptions in response to the escalating drug shortage crisis.

The QuicksortRx NDC Availability Portal is an additional resource to improve drug shortage awareness by rapidly reporting National Drug Codes that have experienced widespread availability disruptions. QuicksortRx maintains this portal using open source and publicly available data, along with insights from our growing visibility from the health systems we serve around the US.

This site and all NDC package data is powered by QuicksortRx Universal Medication Identifiers (QUMI Codes) and data from the CodeRx Team. Click here to learn more about this project.

QUMI codes and NDC package data is available license-free for public use, and is supported by the QuicksortRx and CodeRx Teams. 

Contribute to Transparency

The NDC Availability Portal is built by QuicksortRx using open source and publicly available data.

All are welcome to contribute by submitting missing NDC data and identifying issues with these public resources through Github.
